Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. was the first sorority to charter auxiliary groups. This group formed were known as The Amicae, meaning friends of Zeta. The Amicae are a group of upstanding, community focused women who do not have college degrees but wish to affiliate with a sorority. The first national Amicae group was chartered in 1947. The Orlando Chapter of Amicae was chartered in 1974 and continues to do great works within the community.

Annually, the Orlando Amicae Chapter participates in several events. Their signature event entitled Teen Choices, is a six week program to engage, inform and encourage today’s youth to reach for high goals and do well in society. The Amicae also host additional workshops, forums and field trips, culminating the event with a beautiful award ceremony. We are proud of our Amicae. We are proud of our Friends!
